FCS Check Diversion Programs are based on the belief that individuals should have an opportunity to redeem themselves through education and meaningful accountability for their actions while the programs support law enforcement and the judicial system.
Diversion programs are designed to support law enforcement and the judicial system and enable citizens who have made some minor offenses avoid criminal charges and a criminal record. FCS diversion programs do two things. They give offenders an opportunity to avoid prosecution by completing various requirements, and they help relieve a district attorney’s office from its overburdened caseload.
